The story so far ...

We’re based on a small 300 acre arable farm, situated in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. Before starting the Lodge in 2003 we did things a little differently to what we do now..

In the 1940’s Mr Dennis-Jones took over the farm (with it now in its 4th generation). As many other farms in the county back then, he had a range of animals; from chickens, to pigs, geese and cows. Also wheat, rape, barley and maize, were grown to help feed the animals and also sold on to buyers.

As time went on, things slowly changed with us just having dairy cows and 7000 chickens for eggs, as well as still producing crops.

In 2003 we decided to get rid of the animals and diversify into Bed & Breakfast (as well as keeping the arable part going). Since then we have gone from 14 rooms, to 23; with a range of different room types.

We look forward to see what the future brings!

  • Extremely comfortable

This is the second time we have stayed here, we enjoyed it so much we had to come back again! Breakfast is very nice, a good choice of food. The pub next door is very good for drinks and meals. Our room was so lovely and extremely comfortable.

  • Amazing value for money

So pleased we booked into Church Farm lodge, as we were attending a concert nearby. The room was lovely. Converted barn, high ceilings and exposed beams, lovely decor. Very comfortable bed, we slept soundly. Breakfast was really good. Buffet style, so many choices, excellent quality too. I will definitely book here again when we're next in the area.

  • Never hesitate to stay

We stayed a few years ago and were delighted. Just had another four night stay and nothing has changed - it's still perfect. Friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean premises, all features exactly as advertised. I would never hesitate to stay there when in the area.

  • A gem of a place

We’ve been using Church Farm Lodge as a base for fly fishing throughout Warwickshire, Northampton and Rutland over the last 5 years. We have been warmly welcomed and thoroughly looked after. Rooms are immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast varies from fresh fruit, Continental to Full English. All really tasty. Already booked up for next year.

  • Exceeds all expectations

The rooms are fantastic, staff are wonderful. Modern but classic country style. Owners are friendly, polite, discreet and welcoming. Breakfast is epic. Well done Church Farm Lodge.

  • Ideal for Kelmarsh Hall

My daughter recently got married at Kelmarsh Hall and we booked most of the rooms at Church Farm for the wedding party. What a fabulous B&B! I would highly recommend a stay here, the rooms are all tastefully decorated and the breakfast was delicious! Many thanks to you all at Church Farm for looking after us so well!

  • Really lovely place to stay

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

  • What a friendly reception!

We had a friendly reception, were show to our room, which was very spacious and advised of time for breakfast. We were booked on a gin tour at the Warner Edwards Distillery which is a 5 minute walk so Church Farm was ideal as we could enjoy the evening.
